Nineteen of Daniil Medvedev's 21 titles have been earned on hard surfaces
A comeback Medvedev secured his initial championship for 882 days with victory over Frenchman Moutet in the tournament final.
The athlete, a ex- number one, has had a challenging season, achieving just one match at the big events and undergoing a meltdown at the US Open.
His unpredictability on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his serve in specific - caused him falling of the elite rankings and ultimately splitting with long-time trainer Cervara.
Currently training with Thomas Johansson and Rohan Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually advanced in the recent weeks - peaking in a hard-fought three-set win over opponent Moutet.
It is his maiden championship after the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard surface from March of 2023.
The win also indicates he has won twenty-one championships at 21 various events.
"This marks the first occasion I am participating in a competition with my children at once, so to win a title is really nice," said world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in honour of my second daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I won when my older daughter Alisa was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had been defeated in his past six title deciders, featuring in that event previously this season.
Medvedev's defensive strategy and recurring reactions on court had led observers to question if his ability to compete at the elite level was over.
Yet the player has implemented adjustments in recent weeks, striving to advance forward and perform aggressively, supported by an improved service.
The champion fought back from a disadvantage in the initial set against the tricky opponent, winning four of the last five exchanges to gain the advantage.
The pair swapped service breaks in the following set before the Frenchman, attempting for his initial professional championship, seized the initiative to create a third set.
He rescued 4 early-game break points in a competitive third set before the Russian broke to that score to close out the victory.
Fittingly, Medvedev earned victory with a point at the net area, with his opponent incapable to handle a shot after two hours and 38 minutes.
